Bhagavad Gita 2.66
For those who can't focus, self-awareness is out of reach, and without focus, meditation isn't possible. When meditation is missing, peace is elusive, and without peace, happiness is unattainable.
Bhagavad Gita 2.70
A person who remains calm and unchanged, like the ocean when rivers flow into it, achieves inner peace when all their desires flow into them, whereas someone driven by their desires doesn't find peace. The ocean's water level may rise, but it remains steady, and similarly, this individual stays serene, unaffected by the constant flow of desires. This peaceful state is not attained by those who are controlled by their cravings.
Bhagavad Gita 2.71
A person who lets go of all desires and moves through life without attachment or a sense of ownership, and is also free from ego, finds inner peace. They are able to live without being driven by their cravings, and this freedom brings them a deep sense of calm. By releasing their need to possess and their pride, they are able to live in peace.
Bhagavad Gita 5.29
When you understand that I'm the one who receives the offerings of sacrifice and austerity, the supreme ruler of all worlds, and a friend to every living being, you'll find inner peace. I'm the one who accepts and enjoys the efforts of those who strive for spiritual growth, and recognizing this brings a sense of calm and tranquility. By knowing me in this way, you can experience profound peace.
Bhagavad Gita 12.15
The person who remains calm and unshaken by the world, and who doesn't disturb the world, is free from the turmoil of emotions like joy, anger, and fear - this person is very dear to me.
Bhagavad Gita 6.7
For someone who has mastered their own mind and is at peace, their deeper self remains calm and unchanged, whether they're facing physical discomfort, emotional highs and lows, or social recognition and disrespect. They're equally unaffected by pleasure and pain, or by being honored or dishonored. Their inner self is balanced and serene in all conditions.
